Waxwell Lane car park redevelopment

Development planning

AZ Urban Studio has helped secure planning permission for the development of twenty mews houses on an underutilised car park in Pinner, North London.  The application which forms part of Harrow Councils’ regeneration programme was granted at full committee.

The Waxwell Lane car park is located in an accessible area, a short walk from Pinner Underground Station. It sits in a transitional zone, between the main shopping parade and the more domestic and suburban housing areas, as such the development needed to mediate these two conditions successfully.

Gort Scott Architects designed an innovative yet contextual response and led the project from inception. AZ Urban Studio acted as agent and advised on the full range of planning matters, including planning strategy, assisted with the selection of specialist sub-consultants and prepared the Planning Statement and Heritage Assessment.

This exciting project builds on our expertise and track record of similar mid-sized high-density projects as well as our long history of undertaking work for the public sector.
