Gymnasium, The Newt

Great article, in Dezeen, about our project with architect Invisible Studio at The Newt in Somerset. Probably our smallest building there, but what a gem!! The form, layout and materials of this gymnasium building were carefully crafted to respond to the various listed buildings and woodland beyond that form the immediate context.

One of a series of projects that AZ Urban Studio have secured planning permission for recently as part of our broader ongoing work at this dynamic rural estate.

Planning permission granted in June 2018, project completed and open to guests in June 2019. No hanging around with this client…
