323 Bethnal Green Road
Planning permission has been secured for an innovative mixed-use building at 323 Bethnal Green Road.
The approved development includes two generous residential maisonettes and retail accommodation at lower levels. It replaces a dilapidated two-story building which previously housed a redundant minicab office and poor quality retail space. Although relatively small, the development will provide much needed new residential accommodation while helping to facilitate the continued improvements of this important route.
Working with Manalo & White Architects, AZ Urban Studio advised on planning matters during the application process as well as at the site feasibility stage.
The planning permission was granted by officers of the local planning authority under delegated powers. It is one of a number of projects that AZ Urban Studio has worked upon with Manalo & White.
