Current Projects

From an aeroplane museum to a large multi-storey car park, the team at AZ Urban Studio are working on a huge range of projects. Services include planning applications, assisting with heritage issues and working with Councils to prepare rigorous policy and strategy which will assist in the delivery of great neighbourhoods. Some examples include:

• A Strategic Planning Framework, which will help shape the development of an important Garden City for the next 20 years
• A new decked car park for 600 spaces in a sensitive heritage location which will allow consolidation of town centre parking
• The conversion of a historic dance hall in SE1 to create a mixed-use development
• Town centre development in Wandsworth – approximately 25 flats and supermarket
• Provision of a replacement dwelling in the open countryside in South Oxfordshire
• The conversion of a building in a Camden Conservation Area to provide high-quality apartments and a new garden room
• The revitalisation of an underutilised building beside the Regent’s Canal
• The extension of a listed cottage in a sensitive location in the Cotswolds
• Making use of the recent changes to the Use Classes Order to meet our client’s aspirations for their properties in a London town centre
• Small scale mixed-use building in Conservation Area in Tower Hamlets
• The replacement of a large dilapidated locally listed building in Islington, with a four storey building comprising seven residential units.
• The re-development of a vacant site in Tower Hamlets, with a twelve-story tower to provide 33 residential units
• Seeking additional storeys to an under ambitious extant planning permission for residential development in Barnet
